After spending a great deal of time in the studio writing music and discussing their musical direction, RWND wrote “Living”, a song ripe for a mainstream audience.

Though at first glance, “Living” might give the impression of being another party-anthem, the song deals with the feeling of being stuck in a loop of self-destructive behaviour.

The character in the song is looking to relive a previous “night out”, but he is unable to feel as alive as he did in this glorified memory.

The Timberlake-esque falsetto vocals represent the voices telling him to “fill up his glass” and take another go at fulfilling the fantasy.

 

RWND is taking a more grown-up form, whilst remaining true to their playful musical style.
