Hazel releasing new music!
“Tell Me If I’m Wrong” is about listening to your own feelings. When you are in an on-and-off relationship, you are always hoping that it will be different "this time". But the truth is that it’s never going to change.
In this song, Hazel has come to the point where she finally realizes she’s in an unhealthy relationship and that the other person is never going to live up to the expectations or desires.
"One has been blinded by love and just wasting time on a fantasy and nostalgia".
Just as leopards can't change their spots and old dogs can't learn new tricks, this person in your life will never change.
The song is strong and powerful. Although it is a sad love song, there is so much raw strength and "girlpower" that hits you with this heavy beat. Everyone knows how difficult it can be to live in such a situation when your loved one is unfaithful or the relationship doesn't work as it once did. Making the decision to get out of it and realizing reality requires a lot of a person.
New single from Mari Hajem 19th of April
Breaking All the Ice is a song about loneliness and dealing with it in an ill tempered way. Wanting to trash something just because you’re bored and alone. And an anthem to all who feel like they’ve never been heard or noticed.
“No one ever gave a shit about you” refers to Mari’s difficult childhood with hearing difficulties. The world is a harsh place, and no one really cares if you are struggling, it simply makes you angry.
New remix from Prins!
Let’s turn back the time to 1999 when Ole Ivars (ironically) decided to release the album "Ole Ivars in 2000". It was on this particular album that Ole Ivar's released what turned out to be one of the greatest classics in Norwegian music history; "Nei så tjukk du har blitt". The song has become one of the immortals and has been rotated on jukebox, radio stations, Grammies, and was also featured on an episode on the NRK program "Landeplage". Now this classic has received new impulses from Prince. Latin-rhythms accompanied with reggae guitar puts this classic back on top of the "news feed".
New single from Kaia Höl!
In the autumn of 2018, Kaia Höl was also included in the NRK series "Helt Alene". With its experimental songs and distinctive style, Kaia is ready to give the listeners another treat.
"Please don't take my heart and go!" Dinosaur is about the fear of being abandoned by the one you love, even though you know the relationship is not the best for you. Love is difficult when you give everything and risk your heart. Is the dinosaur that eats all your energy worth fighting for in the long run? Höl is in another place, miss the home and the family's old dog in this electronica song. The strings are crying and love is dying. The one who deserves the priority of your heartbeat is yourself.
New single from Hazel!
The second single from Hazel features an emotional and honest story from the Rnb-artist. She shows her ability to play with different kinds of elements, but still keeping it catchy and relatable. When listening to Daylight it’s easy to get lost in thoughts and just ‘float’ through the song. It’s got such a chill-vibe going with pads that drifts perfectly aligned with Hazel’s effortless vocals.
Daylight is about a flirt that turns into an addiction. She knows what she’s doing, and for the first time it’s the other way around, not the guy running the show. It’s clear she’s aware of her own ability to turn things into dust in just a blink of an eye.
